We are saved for a new life in Christ.Do you long to be “free”?Being saved means being freed from the power of sin to live a new life. The Bible teaches us in Romans chapter six; verses one through eleven: “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Do you desire to have “power” to overcome in life? The power of Christ means nothing less than a new birth. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. Scripture teaches in John chapter three, verses one through eight: “There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh isflesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” Do you need peace?Salvation brings peace with God. Since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God. Romans chapter five, verses one and two: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Do you want real meaning in life?Salvation results in a life of virtue and service. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. In Ephesians chapter two, verses eight through ten, it says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good work, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” You can have this new life by receiving Christ today! Because of God’s amazing love for you, He has provided a way for you to enjoy eternal life in Heaven through Jesus Christ, His Son: “Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me: (John 14:6) Jesus died just to make a way for you to get to Heaven. He invites you now to receive this free gift of salvation by believing that Jesus took the punishment for your sin when He died on the cross. “Heavenly Father: I confess that I am a sinner in need of your forgiveness. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to suffer the punishment for my sin. I want to receive you now and live a life that is pleasing to you. Amen. “ If you prayed this prayer and sincerely meant it in your heart, you have just been accepted into the family of God. Please call us and tell us of your decision.
