Jon first accepted Christ in 1999 and started attending CFC that year with the young lady he was dating at the time, who later became his wife. Jon and Ilaine (Stevenson) Mallich were married on May 4, 2002, and have two sons, Isaiah Robert, born on May 3, 2006 and Carter Paul, born on June 8, 2009. Initially, Jon’s education and training led him to pursue another career with prosthetics. One day, he was modifying a patient’s leg when the Lord clearly spoke to him about a “calling” to ministry. A couple weeks later, someone in church told him of having a “vision” of him in ministry. On December 18, 2005, during a service at CFC, Pastor Roy prophesied over Jon; saying that Jon was his “Timothy”. In obedience to the calling of God upon his life, Jon attended and graduated from Central Theological Bible College in preparation for ministry
